1. Service Agreement
All manufacturing services (CNC machining, 3D printing, and laser cutting) are subject to technical feasibility review. We reserve the right to reject projects that exceed our equipment capabilities or do not meet safety standards.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue date. Final pricing may vary based on material costs, design complexity, and project specifications. Any changes to the original design may result in additional charges.
3. Billing & Payment
All invoices will be sent via email within 24 hours of order confirmation. Payment terms are net 30 days unless otherwise specified. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and approved payment methods. A 50% deposit may be required for large projects.
4. Production Timeline
Lead times vary depending on project complexity and current workload. Standard turnaround is 5-10 business days. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee. Delays due to material shortages or equipment failure will be communicated immediately.
5. Quality & Tolerances
CNC machined parts meet industry-standard tolerances of ±0.005" unless otherwise specified. 3D printed parts may exhibit layer lines and minor surface imperfections inherent to the additive process. Laser cut edges may show minor burn marks depending on material.
Time, Quality & Cost Relationship:
Quality is directly correlated with time and cost across all services (CNC, 3D printing, and laser cutting). Projects requiring faster turnaround will be priced for expedited production with standard quality. Higher quality work requires additional setup time, slower feed rates, multiple passes, careful finishing, and quality control—all of which increase both production time and cost. Clients seeking premium results should expect longer lead times and higher pricing, while those prioritizing speed and economy will receive functional parts at standard quality levels.
Addendum - 3D Print Quality Tiers:
Enhanced quality 3D prints are available at increased cost. Higher resolution settings, finer layer heights, post-processing (sanding, vapor smoothing, painting), premium materials, and extended print times all contribute to superior surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Clients may request upgraded quality tiers during the quoting process, with pricing adjusted accordingly based on the specific quality requirements and additional labor involved.
6. Materials & Specifications
Customers are responsible for providing accurate specifications and suitable materials. We can source materials on behalf of clients with associated procurement fees. Material costs are billed separately from labor and machine time.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, files, and intellectual property remain the property of the client. We maintain strict confidentiality and will not reproduce or retain project files without explicit permission. However, we reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials once the project has been publicly released by the client (e.g., for film projects, we will not share until after the film's official release). Clients may request confidentiality agreements for sensitive projects.
8. Liability & Warranties
We guarantee workmanship but will not replace any goods once we have handed it over to the client. If there are any issues, they must be discussed before the client takes the product. We are not responsible for design flaws, material defects, or application failures.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Projects may be cancelled before production begins with full refund minus any design or setup fees. Once production has started, cancellation fees apply based on work completed. Custom orders are non-refundable.
10. Invoice Fraud Prevention
All official invoices from Dark Arts Studios are sent exclusively from the following authorized email address:

Do not accept or pay invoices received from any other email address. If you receive an invoice claiming to be from Dark Arts Studios that was sent from a different email address, do not process payment and contact us immediately using the phone number or email listed on our official website.
Dark Arts Studios is not responsible for any payments made to invoices sent from unauthorized or fraudulent email addresses. We will not be liable for any financial losses, damages, or claims arising from payments made to fraudulent invoices that did not originate from our authorized email address. It is the client's responsibility to verify the sender's email address before processing any invoice payment.
